The Safe Environment User Registration Log In directions for Prevent and Protect Jan. 2020 can be found under the document section on this page. In addition to registering on the new website and submitting for a background check, there are three (3) training modules that must also be completed.

St. Simon the Apostle Parish is committed to protecting God’s children from spiritual, emotional and physical harm.
All employees and volunteers (Adults 18 years of age and out of high school) who come into regular contact with children are required to:
1) Register online at: www.preventandprotectstl.org website.
2) Attend the Archdiocesan sponsored class “Protecting God’s Children” - a schedule of workshop locations and times can be found at: preventandprotectstl.org
3) Abide by the Code of Ethical Conduct - Adults guidelines found on the Prevent and Protect website.The web address to the Protecting God's Children list of classes is:

Attendance at a Protecting God's Children workshop is required prior to your date of employment/volunteer service.
Minors (under the age of 18 or still in high school)
All parish employees and any volunteers under the age of 18 who work with minors and/or vulnerable adults must complete and submit the following to the Parish Office:- Signature Page - Code of Ethical Conduct for Minors Volunteering or Working with Younger Children
The form is located on this page on the right-hand sidebar, Documents. It can be e-mailed to [email protected], faxed to 314-842-9829, dropped off during parish office hours, dropped in the mail slot at the rectory after hours, or dropped in the collection basket at Mass. Please make sure the information is in an envelope with Protecting God's Children clearly written on it.
