As Director of School and Youth Development, I have the pleasure of leading the Youth Ministry program at St. Simon in addition to contributing to the administration of our education programs on campus. I work closely with students and teachers to provide support in the areas of student conduct, school marketing and outreach, admissions, and direction of extra curricular and co-curricular student activities.
I am overjoyed to share in the church's ministry to God's people. I graduated from Lindbergh High School in 2019 and Mizzou in 2021 with Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Constitutional Democracy. I am currently working on a JD from Saint Louis University. I am also a lifelong member of St. Simon's Parish, an alumnus of Simon Says Early Childhood Center and St. Simon PSR, and a former participant in St. Simon's Youth Ministry.
My journey in working with youth ministry began in 2013 with my very first Luke 18 Retreat, and I was HOOKED. I impatiently awaited the next Luke 18 Retreat, joined weekly ministry meetings, attended Steubenville Conferences, and the Pro-Life March in Washington D.C. During my senior year of high school and into college, I stepped into various leadership roles, from small group leader to Team Leader of the Luke 18 Retreat.
My journey in education is lifelong. Before finishing as a student in the Lindbergh School District, I participated in committee work to secure State and National School of Character recognitions, worked on District Strategic Planning Committees, contributed to Curriculum and Instruction work, and built a reputation as a mentor and student leadership advocate in my work with the Missouri Association of Student Councils. I continued my interest in college, working in various leadership roles at Mizzou to support student success and leadership with the Missouri Students' Association. During that time, my work with the Missouri Association of Student Councils continued as well with a focus on outreach and development. In 2022, I obtained my substitute teaching certification from the State of Missouri and returned to Lindbergh High School to fill a long-term position. It was then I realized my love for education - borne from a return to working with students and student leaders.
