Dear St. Simon PSR families,
It is with great joy that I welcome you to a new school year. The theme for our school year is:
“Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” Mt 4:19
I am very excited to be starting a new year of PSR. Although this is my first year as the PSR coordinator, I have taught 1st grade PSR for 4 years. I probably have taught many of your children. It truly has been a blessing in my life and I looked forward to it each year. My husband Joe and I have been members of St. Simon for the past 13 years. We have three daughters ages 11, 7, and 3. My oldest two daughters attend school at St. Simon. I look forward to getting to know you all better in my new role. There may be a few growing pains as I am still learning new things each day. I ask you all for your prayers and patience as I transition this first year. My overall goal would be to preach the joy of the gospel to your children while sharing the beautiful faith and tradition of the Catholic Church with them. I pray that we can all work together to accomplish this goal. Thank you so much for all the kindness and support I have already received.
The PSR catechists and I look forward to getting to know your family throughout this year and sharing in the education of your children. Please keep us in your prayers as you are in ours. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions, or anything you may need. 314 842-3848 (x241)
In His joy,
